Yamaji Artists visit

On Monday 21 of June I had the privilege to have 3 Yamaji Artist from WA visiting the studio for a professional development workshop. Artists Kevin Merritt, Barbara Merritt and Margaret Whitehurst wanted to learn to work with watercolour in addition to their current medium. The focus was on Botanic Art.

A great day painting with watercolour and some love stories from the three artist. Some real insight in the local wild flowers as well.

Peoples choice award!

Our term 4 has been an exciting term with the Student exhibition at the Williamstown Library.
Ian Barclay took out the people's choice award with his Gymea watercolour. Congratulations Ian and the art shop voucher will be a welcome gift no doubt.
Suzie Skelton's Iris and Janet Howie's Cicada did also very well. A big thank you to all who were part of the show and the Library has already invited us for a 2015 show!

Please don't forget to sign up for term 1, 2015!
